Arcane Battle Composer (ABC)
Rules 2500 BC- 1345 AD

ABC is a fast play game using 12 to 20 bases (or 'units') per army, with an average of about 42 figures. A fixed table size is recommended for each scale: 90x60cm for 10-15mm miniatures. You can issue orders to a single stand and the average realistic playing time is under 30 minutes (leisure) or 30-60 minutes (competition).

Game features:
- Table size (up to 15mm) : 90x60cm;
- Miniature basing conventions from 10-15mm up to 1:20 scale (90-100mm);
- All base sizes are a multiple of the move distance unit;
- Armies of 12 to 20 stands (approximately 42 figures);
- Combat based on the scores difference (d6);
- Few dice used: a single die roll resolves most situations;
- No bookkeeping or markers;
- No variable random orders;
- No 'combat factors'.

The fundamental game skill is mastering the initiative, not tactical details.
All combat is fought after both sides have moved. Your plan will only work if it betters that of your opponent and there will be often the need to adapt it as circumstances change.

The game is distributed in .pdf format at 1,5 euro.
